The self-development pathway

I have been interested in self-development and personal growth for as long as I can remember. In the mid 90's, I became aquainted with Western Astrology and studied for over two years with a seasoned astrologer (Sheldon Rosner) who later became my mentor. I assisted Sheldon with his weekly astrology radio program and gained an in-depth knowledge and understanding of this particular modality for self-development. Astrology gave me my first glimpse into what it felt like to empower others and support them in transforming their own lives.

Around the same time, I became familiar with a study program called A Course In Miracles and discovered Marianne Williamson (I highly recommend A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of "A Course in Miracles"). While reading this book and practicing some of the exercises in A Course in Miracles, it became very clear to me that fear was the central source for most of the discomfort in my life. "If I could just find a way to master my fear..."

From fear to freedom

Rhonda & I at The Bodhi
Tree Booksigning, March 2006

In February 2004, I heard Rhonda Britten on the radio while on vacation in Colorado. She was talking about her book Fearless Living and discussing how most people she had come into contact with reported feelings of "not being good enough" or inadequacy in some area of their lives and she connected it with fear. I bought the book, discovered her web site and participated in a "Doorway to Freedom" teleclass in August 2004. Later I signed up for my first Fearless Foundation Workshop in November 2004. This workshop provided me insight to many keys to my freedom including understanding my Core Need of self-acceptance and helping me identify the biggest excuse I was using in my life that was paralyzing me and holding me back from achieving the life I could only dream about.

My personal life coaching experience

Bindu, Mynde & Ali
FFW New York, June 2005

I completed Fearless Conversations that same month and met my first life coach, Bindu Wiles. I began coaching sessions in February 2005. Bindu was like a great earth-moving machine. Together, we completely re-sculpted my inner landscape through a journey of discovering how fear was operating at it's deepest levels in my life. In April 2005, I began coaching with Ali Lecube. Ali was like a tender gardener to my soul, inviting me to plant new seeds of self-love and self-acceptance. My experience of having two wonderful coaches, combined with involvement in Fearbuster study groups and participating in teleclasses led by Rhonda supported my personal transformation process. A process that continues to unfold...

Life coach training

Fearless Living Institute
Even before I began personal life coaching sessions, I knew I wanted to become a coach myself. I entered the Fearless Living coaching program in November 2005 where my mentor, Martha, supported me to bring forth the coach that was within me. After graduating the certification program in January 2007, I stepped fully into my dream of coaching full-time.

Human Software Engineering
In September 2007, I completed a 4-day intensive training workshop with Tom Stone and Michael Stratford. Using the Human Software Engineering modality of Core Dynamics has and will continue to enhance my own personal growth process as well as introduce five new powerful energy techniques to my coaching toolbox to support my client's coaching experience.

Before and during my coaching training program, I worked for a global analytical and information services company for eight years and have a variety of other business experiences that began in 1990. In addition to working with my clients, I am also a mother of a 14-year old and I continue to practice astrology as a hobby. I am a member of the International Coach Federation and the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce.

Interested in working with me?

My first promise to my clients is to give the best coaching I know how to give. My second promise is to continually upgrade my coaching skills so that I can deliver fully on my first promise. The results of my client's coaching experience is up to them.
