From past to present
The major focus of counseling is to address the healing of
medical conditions, which may be both psychological and/or
physical in nature. Most states require therapists to hold
special licenses and credentials, including medical degrees,
in some cases. The therapeutic process may focus on the healing
and resolution of issues rooted in the client's past, or issues
related to abuse, addictions, or trauma response. Therapeutic
services are most often delivered in person.
From why to how
Coaching by a Certified Fearless Living Coach (CFLC) is less
concerned with a client’s remedial work (healing old
wounds) and more focused on ‘what to do about it now’
approach. The main thrust of coaching is to develop the client's
present and future life, through emphasizing the importance
of taking specific actions to achieve their goals and dreams.
The coach is someone who assists clients in breaking down
goals, projects, and plans into practical, do-able action
steps - without ' healing,' ' saving,' or ' fixing.' Certified
Fearless Living Coaching sessions are action-oriented and
give clients tools for maintaining forward momentum.
The Certified Fearless Living Coach coaching programs are
not medical programs, a Certified Fearless Living Coach will
not be practicing therapy, medicine, or providing crisis mitigation
services during this program. Rather, many of Certified Fearless
Living Coaches hold advanced degrees and training in fields
including business, education, training, coaching, and human
resources and development. In addition, they are also trained
in key essential coaching competencies that complement their
specialized professional experience. Certified Fearless Living
Coaches conduct coaching sessions via telephone consultations
and in person - for groups, organizations, and individuals. |
